communal portrait of a Headmaster (2018)

This work was created, by every child in the school, on the occasion of the retirement of their headmaster. Worked through the course of the day the work has been communal, the sculptor supporting each child in seeing and placing their clay… and the sculptor practically finishing the raw work into a hollowed form ready for kiln firing and mounting.
