This block was worked over 35 days during 2014-6 at the National Trust’s Slindon estate to celebrate the Rise of Northwood. 1350 passers-by were involved, in the earlier stages helping to open the block up randomly – and then latterly taking on directed ‘apprentice’ roles as the forms began to suggest themselves more strongly.
